Hello! Welcome back to another episode of Draft Mechanic! Today we’ve got an interview with designers Jessica Chu & Katie Khau and we’re taking a look at their upcoming game Windup War, being published by Bellwether Games - and it’s on Kickstarter now for another two weeks! We’re digging into the classics as well today with Puerto Rico on tap. We’ve also got some cool recent plays: 51st State; the new “Widows Walk” expansion for Betrayal at House on the Hill; and we’re also going over our first impressions of SeaFall after two games. Finally, we’re going to discuss the news out of Massachusetts where a craft brewery is looking to help out the little guys by starting their own distribution company. Draft Mechanic Episode 31: Terraforming Mars; Dan, Live from Essen; GABF 2016 Results
Space. The next frontier. Well, hopefully, anyway - we should really get going! I think the first place we should start is Mars. Maybe we should consider terraforming it, building it to our needs as a launchpad to the unknown? What better way to prepare for that endeavor than playing the new release from Stronghold Games, Terraforming Mars! We’re giving this new hotness the double-feature treatment with a full review as well as an on-tap beer pairing. We’ve also got alliterative titles galore with recent plays of Potion Explosion and Schotten-Totten! For the first time, we’ve also got a guest star as Dan from our TIME Stories team went overseas for work and coincidentally ended up at Essen Spiel 2016. Dan shares his experience after his first day in the Essen hall and talks about the sights and games. We round it up today with a look at the news from the Great American Beer Festival that just took place in Colorado. Enjoy!

Draft Mechanic Episode 30: Stephen Buonocore interview, Dragon & Flagon on tap, Dice City & Viticulture
Time to storm the castle! Today we’ve got the Podfather, the founder and president of Stronghold Games, Stephen Buonocore joining us to talk games and beer! Stephen talks about his fall lineup, games he’s taking to Essen, talks about the Stronghold origin story, how he started working with the Engelsteins, and also we get to hear about Buonocore’s beer history as he’s a big craft beer fan as well. A match made in heaven! Or at least, a match made at the tavern! Speaking of taverns (great segue, I know, I’m very proud of it) - we’re putting the new Stronghold release The Dragon & Flagon on tap! We’re also going to talk about a few Kickstarter oddities as well as discuss our recent plays of Dice City and Viticulture. It’s a podcast you can’t refuse!
